Alcester & Ragley Park Cricket Club

In early 2019, the Women’s Team (affectionately known as The Alcester Arrows) was established. With many of our members new to cricket the focus of the women’s team is on introducing a fun and comfortable environment for women to come along and take part in cricket and maybe get fitter in the process.

We take seriousness out of cricket and play for enjoyment, yes, as a team we enjoy winning and an edge of competitiveness is always a good thing, but our aim with the Alcester Arrows is to give women in the local community an outlet to come along and have fun with like-minded individuals in a safe environment.

We endeavour to continue to encourage the growth of the team and along with this, the opportunities for women to take part in both hardball and softball cricket throughout the season.
