Pre-season Club Update

With the league season nearly upon us, we are all hoping for the recent good weather to continue, so that all our activities can start as planned. Our juniors will hopefully have their first outdoor training session this Friday the 18th and our CHL Premier League and Division 3 campaigns start on the 3rd May. Adult nets start on the 16th April and will continue every Wednesday from around 6pm. We are also running some Saturday nets, if demand is sufficient.

With all this in mind, could I ask that everyone updates their availability on Pitchero, as this is the only method that captains now use to select their teams and allocate net time. There are still available slots to play for our league teams on Saturdays, particularly in the early part of the season, as our University players will be away. All you need to do is make yourself available and the captains will do the rest. Please also ensure subs are paid so that you can selected for games. We have had an excellent uptake for our All Stars and Dynamos softball programme, which is now virtually fully booked. I also enclose the pack issued to all new members, please review for Club news.

We have welcomed back some players to the Club, namely Darren Kok and our overseas, now UK qualified, Rohan Campbell.

Over the winter our grounds people have refurbished the scorebox, so that it is fully functional and with its own power and better links to the scoreboard.

We have improved our Wi-Fi so our Club should now be able to remain cashless, with additional machines to enable card payments to be taken for the BBQ and match fees; we want to make it as easy as possible for you to spend money at our Club!
