Junior Teams

ARPCC enter the 2016 season with a flourishing youth section, comprising of U15, U13 and U11 teams playing in the Cotswold Hills Cricket League and Warwickshire League.

We also have a kwik cricket session on Friday nights at the club, for children between 6-9 years.

U11

The step up for kwik cricketers into competitive league cricket. Managed by Greg Pryor, the U11 league is based on pairs cricket. Each of the batting pairs bat for 4 overs each, if any batsman is out 5 runs are deducted from the score, yet the batsman stays in until his pair have batted for 4 overs. Each player has to bowl at least one over. This format is a great introduction for the youngsters to competitive cricket. We now have 4 coaches and offer Sunday CHL cricket and Monday evenings 20/20 pairs cricket in the Warwickshire league

U13

U13's play 3 matches a week due to strong squad numbers with 2 Sunday morning CHL matches as well as Midweek 11 aside Warwickshire league cricket.

Managed by Ian Biddle on 07818 011522

U15

The U15’s play Tuesday nights in a 16 over format and will have 11 fixtures in the Cotswold Hills League competition commencing in early May and continuing through until mid July providing excellent match opportunities for the  squad.

TRAINING NIGHTS

U11/13  & KWIK CRICKETERS – FRIDAY NIGHTS

U15 – THURSDAY NIGHTS

Our philosophy is simple, we want all youth players at ARPCC to enjoy playing their cricket, whilst learning and improving through our coaching methods and practices. Our aim is to develop the youth players to ultimately represent the First X1.
